Approving the project of information system for monitoring, supervision and evaluation of state-funded investment projects

Acronym

(MPI Portal) - On July 23rd, the Minister of Planning and Investment issued Decision No. 937/QD-BKHDT approving the project "Information System for monitoring, supervision and evaluation of state-funded investment projects". This information system was built to support planning the allocation of annual capital investment in Ministries, sectors and localities; monitoring, inspection and evaluation of state-funded investment projects as prescribed by law.

Information system for monitoring, supervision and evaluation of state-funded investment projects will be implemented on the system of servers, system softwares, load balancing and storage equipment used for the system located in Data Center of Ministry of Planning and Investment. These systems will be used to collect, update, store, process, integrate and provide information on state-funded investment projects.
For effective monitoring, supervision and evaluation of state-funded investment projects, it is supposed to develop databases and application softwares with following functions: updating and looking up regulations and guidances on state-funded investment; updating the information on investment projects using state capital at organizations directly managing the implementation of investment projects or directly operating the exploitation of invested projects; integrating information into the data repository; looking up, extracting information on investment projects; setting up synthesis reports on the investment projects for planning the allocation of annual investment capital; monitoring, inspecting and evaluating investment projects; conducting publicity of the information and the state-funded projects as prescribed by law.
Regulations on management, operation and exploitation of this system will be prepared and submitted to the competent authorities to promulgate. User guide documents will also be created, along with training on uses and implementation of the project. /.
