(MPI Portal) - The Ministry of Planning and Investment is implementing and completing the final stage of the project "Information management system of foreign investment" approved in Decision 43/2008/QD-TTg and Decision 48/2009/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister. The system is a useful tool to support foreign investment state management agencies and businesses in of the information on foreign investment to synthetize and report to the relevant agencies according to current regulations. In the coming time, the Ministry of Planning and Investment will conduct training for the involved agencies and apply this system on a national scale.
To bring the system into operation, the Ministry of Planning and Investment is reviewing the entire database on the list of foreign invested projects in the country to switch to the new system.
On Sep 04th 2012, the Ministry of Planning and Investment issued Official Dispatch No. 6734/BKHDT-DTNN proposing People's Committees of provinces and cities directly under the Central Government to review the entire foreign invested projects under their management (including expired, dissolved projects) in 02 forms attached to this document and submit to the Ministry of Planning and Investment before September 30th, 2012.
