Minister Bui Quang Vinh receives Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in Vietnam

(MPI Portal) – In the afternoon on March 28th, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Planning and Investment, Minister Bui Quang Vinh had a meeting with Ms. Jutta Frasch, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in Vietnam. Attending the meeting, there were representatives of the two countries’ units.

Opening the meeting, Ambassador Jutta Frasch thanked the Minister for reception arrangement. The Ambassador confirmed that Germany always considers Vietnam a key partner in foreign policy. She said Asia – Pacific Conference (APK) is expected to take place in November, 2014 in Ho Chi Minh city. This will be the most important meeting of German businesses in order to exchange and promote trade with enterprises and politicians in this area.

This is a great opportunity for businesses in Vietnam and German enterprises to promote trade stronger between the two countries. Through the conference, German businesses wants to learn about investment opportunities in Vietnam as well as exchange experiences with local businesses. Vietnam and German will celebrate 40 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 2015.

Minister Bui Quang Vinh appreciated the positive contribution of Ambassador Jutta Frasch for the development of relations between Vietnam and German in the last time. The Minister confirmed that the strategic partnership of the two countries was based on strategic trust, thus, there were many successful cooperations, especially in the field of investment, trade and economy.

The Minister hoped that in the Ambassador’s term of office in Vietnam, she will continue to contribute to furthering the good traditional relationship between Vietnam and Germany, for the mutual benefit of the two countries./.
