(MPI Portal) – On March 06th 2015, at the headquarters of the MPI, Minister Bui Quang Vinh had a meeting with Mr. Dakhil A.R. Al Johani, Saudi Arabian Ambassador to Vietnam.

The Minister affirmed that bilateral ties is very good. Saudi Arabian Development Fund has been supporting Vietnamese projects in numerous fields like rural infrastructure, human resources development, health… and achieved practical results.  With potentials and strengths of each nation, the Minister hoped that Vietnam and Saudi Arabia would extended trade and investment cooperation in other fields besides oil and gas, contributing to raise two-way trade turnover and attracting many Saudi Arabian businesses investing into Vietnam.

Thanks for the welcome of the Minister, Saudi Arabian Ambassador affirmed to do his utmost to contribute to promoting trade – investment cooperation between the two countries and desired to be supported by Vietnam generally and the MPI particularly in signing Agreement on Encouragement and Protection of Investment of the two countries.

At the meeting, the Minister wished the Ambassador’s tenure in Vietnam would be successful and contribute to boosting bilateral cooperation increasingly good./.
