Deputy Minister Phuong highlighted the growing cooperation and close coordination between the two countries over the past time, saying Vietnam thanked the government and people of Poland for their practical, timely support during the COVID-19 combat.

He spoke highly of the Polish Government’s preferential credit package for Vietnam, particularly used in priorities for cooperation between the two countries such as technology transfer, shipbuilding and agriculture. As a country severely affected by storms in the East Sea, Vietnam highly appreciates Poland’s support to strengthen the country’s rescue forces capacity.

The Ministry of Planning and Investment is committed to working closely with Polish agencies in Vietnam to effectively implement projects used Polish preferential credit package. He called on Polish businesses to continue investing in areas of Vietnam’s demands and Poland’s strengths; suggesting Vietnam and Poland step up their close coordination to improve the efficiency of trade promotion between the two countries’ businesses, towards the balance of trade.

For his part, Grzegorz agreed to make greater efforts to forge the multifaceted cooperation between the two countries. The Polish Government’s preferential credit package for Vietnam, prioritised in shipbuilding, sea search and rescue, agriculture, machinery and equipment manufacturing, affirmed Poland’s determination to leverage the two countries’ relations in more substantive manner.

He hoped businesses of the two countries maximise strengths and support each other to strengthen economic cooperation, promote technology transfer and bring Polish products to the Vietnamese market./.
