Deputy Minister Dong spoke highly of Roland Berger’s visions and contributions in consulting strategy, digital transformation and innovation for many countries and Vietnam.

As a general advisory agency on strategies for the Party and Government, since 2019, the Ministry of Planning and Investment has advised the Prime Minister to establish the Innovation Center (NIC) and a global Vietnamese innovation network to support, promote and develop the innovation ecosystem and startups. He said, science-technology, innovation and digital transformation are main engines of growth for the country in the 2021-2030 period.

He expressed his hope Roland Berger will strengthen cooperation with the NIC to share experiences, boost connection with innovation centres of the company and call for high-tech investment to the nation. This will help Vietnamese businesses improve their innovation capacity and digital transformation.

The deputy minister also suggested the company to provide consultation on building socio-economic development strategies to help Vietnam attract high-quality FDI and develop sustainably in the new context.

For his part, Denis Depeoux said he support Vietnam’s commitments and development orientation in the coming period, and stressed that Vietnam is an important global partner of Roland Berger.

Roland Berger stands ready to connect their innovation centres with NIC to exchanges experiences and support provinces, cities and regions of Vietnam develop planning strategies. Depoux added, the company is committed to accompanying Vietnamese businesses and the Ministry of Planning and Investment to attract high-quality FDI resources.

The two sides exchanged ideas related to the socio-economic development strategy of Vietnam, and agreed to step up cooperation between Roland Berger and localities of Vietnam./.
